I give this nite light 5 stars because it works well and is beautiful. The various colors of light are lovely, the the pattern it projects on the wall around it are beautiful. You may want to note three factors that may effect where you use it: I found that there is only one outlet in my home where I can use it where there is enough wall space surrounding the outlet to allow the pattern to show: it needs at least 8-10 inches out to the sides to get the full effect of the pattern. 2.it does not have an off-on switch, just the light sensor which turns it off in daylight (which works very well). So if you use it in a bedroom you cannot turn it off when you go to sleep. 3. it has several lovely colors, and all except the red provide plenty of light to see your way into an otherwise dark room: the red, however, projects very little (almost no) light into the room, so if you're walking into a room you may need to pause just a few seconds until it changes color in order to see your way to walk safely. None of these characteristics may be a problem for you, depending upon what you need the light for. It is a beautiful thing.
